Paulette Snijders

Paulette Snijders (1946- Kerkrade) studied successively at the Academy of Art and the Jan van Eijck Academy in Maastricht. She completed her education with master classes/workshops with the artist Frans de Haas in The Hague (etching), the Academy of Delft (Indonesian batik craft) and a part-time academic study of philosophy.

Paulette’s career was as turbulent as her existence. She worked in Germany, Spain, Algeria and in various places in the Netherlands. A swirling mixture of North-European and North-African influences determines her vision on life. Her annual journeys to exotic places all over the world, adjusted her ideas and visions a little bit every time.
